Product Specific Information

The 6H6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD123, the alpha chain of the IL-3 receptor. CD123 is a 60–70 kDa transmembrane protein that binds IL-3 with low affinity alone, and with high affinity when associated with CD131. It is expressed by myeloid precursors, macrophages, dendritic cells, mast cells, basophils, and megakaryocytes.

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-diluted and tested on normal human peripheral blood cells at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 805 (BUV805) is a tandem dye emitting at 797 nm, optimized for UV (355 nm) laser-equipped cytometers. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) or Brilliant Stain Buffer (Product # 00-4409-75) to minimize non-specific interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to avoid photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Compatible with IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
Methanol Compatibility: Suitable for short-term methanol fixation (<1 hour).
Excitation / Emission / Laser: 355 nm / 797 nm / Ultraviolet Laser.

Target Information

IL-3Ra (Interleukin-3 receptor subunit alpha) belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and forms a heterodimer with the common beta (CDw131) subunit. It mediates IL-3 signaling and receptor activation. Overexpression of IL-3Ra is reported in AML blasts, making it a potential therapeutic target.
