Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The 26S proteasome is a multicatalytic proteinase complex with a highly ordered structure composed of two subcomplexes: a 20S core and a 19S regulator.

  • The 20S core consists of four rings of 28 non-identical subunits (two rings of 7 alpha and two rings of 7 beta subunits).
  • The 19S regulator includes a base (6 ATPase and 2 non-ATPase subunits) and a lid (up to 10 non-ATPase subunits).
    Proteasomes are widely distributed in eukaryotic cells and cleave peptides in an ATP/ubiquitin-dependent, non-lysosomal pathway.
    The immunoproteasome variant is essential for the processing of class I MHC peptides.
    The PSMD3 gene encodes one of the non-ATPase subunits of the 19S regulator lid.
