Target Information

IdU (Idoxuridine)는 변형된 데옥시유리딘 형태의 뉴클레오사이드 유사체로, 바이러스 DNA 복제 과정에 삽입될 수 있으나, 우라실 성분에 요오드 원자가 추가되어 염기쌍 형성을 방해합니다. 심장 독성으로 인해 국소적으로만 사용되며, 1950년대 후반 William Prusoff에 의해 합성되었습니다.
