Calpain 3 유전자 변이는 사지대 근이영양증 2A형(limb-girdle muscular dystrophy type 2A)과 관련이 있습니다.
Calpastatin은 Calpain의 단백질분해 활성과 막 결합을 억제하여 조절하며, 조직형과 적혈구형 두 가지 형태로 존재합니다.
