이 인산화효소는 cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs)를 탈인산화하여 세포 주기 조절에 관여할 수 있습니다. 과발현 시 세포 성장 정지 또는 세포 사멸을 유도할 수 있으며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 여러 전사 변이체가 생성됩니다. 일부 변이체는 완전 길이 서열을 포함하지 않습니다.
