Target Information
Glutathione S-transferase (GST) is a 26 kDa protein found in both eukaryotes and prokaryotes, catalyzing diverse reactions.
GST is widely used in gene fusion systems, enabling purification of GST-fusion proteins via glutathione affinity.
These fusion proteins are valuable for studying direct protein–protein interactions.
The GST gene fusion system has been implemented in numerous expression vectors.
