Target Information
Mouse IgG2a is a subtype of immunoglobulin G antibody produced by B cells in response to antigens.
It is the second most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays a crucial role in adaptive immune responses, including:
- Opsonization
- Complement activation
- Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC)
Mouse IgG2a also regulates immune responses such as T cell activation and B cell inhibition.
It is widely used in research and diagnostic applications including ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, as well as in immunotherapy and vaccine development.
