Target Information

CNSK1A1 (CK1 alpha 1) is a member of the casein kinase I (CKI) gene family, encoding serine/threonine kinases that preferentially phosphorylate acidic substrates.
CKI proteins are monomeric (25–55 kDa) and found in nuclei, cytoplasm, and membrane fractions of eukaryotic cells.
Functions include:

• Phosphorylation of multiple proteins
• Participation in Wnt signaling
• Phosphorylation of CTNNB1 at Ser-45
• Possible phosphorylation of PER1 and PER2
• Possible role in chromosome segregation during mitosis
