For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

E-Cadherin (epithelial cadherin) is a classical cadherin from the calcium-dependent adhesion protein superfamily. It is a glycoprotein with five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail.
Mutations in CDH1 are associated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid, and ovarian cancers. Loss of E-cadherin function contributes to cancer progression by promoting proliferation, invasion, and metastasis.
E-cadherin also mediates bacterial adhesion and internalization, playing a crucial role in tissue architecture and integrity. In humans, the CDH1 gene is located on chromosome 16.
