The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
ZFPM1 is a transcription regulator that plays an essential role in erythroid and megakaryocytic cell differentiation. It acts as a cofactor forming heterodimers with GATA family transcription factors (GATA1, GATA2, GATA3), which can either activate or repress transcription depending on the context. The heterodimer with GATA proteins activates genes such as NFE2, ITGA2B, alpha- and beta-globin, while repressing KLF1 expression. ZFPM1 may also play roles in gonadal gene regulation and cardiac development in conjunction with ZFPM2/FOG2.
