SORL1 유전자는 vacuolar protein sorting 10 domain-containing receptor family와 low density lipoprotein receptor family에 속하는 모자이크 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 fibronectin type III 반복과 epidermal growth factor 반복을 포함하며, 내포작용 및 단백질 분류에 관여합니다. SORL1 발현과 알츠하이머병 사이의 연관성이 제시된 바 있습니다.
