Target Information
CAMK4 (CaMKIV)는 serine/threonine protein kinase로 CREB, oncoprotein 18, SRF를 인산화합니다.
주로 림프구, 뉴런, 정자세포 등에서 발현되며, 칼슘 의존적 유전자 발현 조절에 관여합니다.
특히 신경세포에서는 시냅스 가소성 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, T세포에서는 칼슘 신호 전달 및 NFAT 활성 조절에 관련됩니다.
정소에서는 생식세포에서 크로마틴과 결합하여 핵 응축 과정 중 크로마틴 리모델링에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
