Product Specific Information

The HIS40 monoclonal antibody reacts with the µ heavy chain of rat IgM. It does not cross-react with other rat immunoglobulin classes such as IgD, IgG, or IgA. IgM is expressed intracellularly during early B cell development and on the surface of mature B cells in bone marrow and peripheral tissues. Fluorochrome-conjugated HIS40 serves as a detection secondary for rat IgM primary antibodies.
