For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional round of desalting (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Error-prone DNA polymerase specifically involved in DNA repair. Plays an important role in translesion synthesis, where normal high-fidelity DNA polymerases cannot proceed and DNA synthesis stalls.
Favors Hoogsteen base-pairing in the active site and inserts the correct base with high fidelity opposite an adenosine template.
Exhibits low fidelity and efficiency opposite a thymidine template, preferentially inserting guanosine.
May play a role in hypermutation of immunoglobulin genes. Forms a Schiff base with 5′-deoxyribose phosphate at abasic sites but may not have lyase activity.
