CDK2/cyclinO는 CyclinO와 복합체를 이루는 cyclin-dependent protein kinase 계열 단백질입니다. CyclinO는 UNG 유전자의 특정 단백질 아이소폼으로 핵에만 국한되어 존재하며, uracil-DNA glycosylase 활성을 나타냅니다. CDK2/cyclinO 단백질 수준은 G1기 동안 증가하고 세포주기 동안 분해됩니다. Cyclin A-CDK2 복합체는 G1/S 전이에 최대치에 도달하며, DNA 복제 개시 복합체에서 DNA와 결합되어 있습니다. Rb 단백질은 CDK2-cyclin E 및/또는 CDK2-cyclin A의 기질로 작용합니다. CDK2는 G1 후반기, S기, G2기 동안 활성화되어 핵으로 이동합니다.
