CDK1 (Cell Division Control protein 1)는 세포 주기의 START 단계를 완료하기 위해 필수적인 단백질로, 유사분열 개시를 유도하는 M-Phase Promoting Factor의 촉매 서브유닛입니다.
CDK1은 진핵생물에서 보편적으로 존재하며, G2/M 단계에서 Bcl-2의 인산화 및 세포사멸 지연 신호에 관여합니다. 또한, CDK 억제제 NU2058은 안드로겐 비의존성 전립선암 치료 가능성을 보여줍니다.
