Product Specific Information
This GL7 monoclonal antibody reacts with a cell-surface protein found on T and B lymphocytes activated in vitro, on bone marrow pre-B-II cells, germinal center B cells, and also human B cell lines Ramos and Daudi. Expression varies by strain, being higher in BALB/c than in C57BL/6. GL7 is widely used as a marker for mouse germinal center B cells. The epitope corresponds to a sialic acid glycan moiety, Neu5Ac, recognized by CD22.
Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Validated for flow cytometry of stimulated mouse splenocytes at ≤0.5 µg/test. A test is defined as the antibody amount required to stain a 100 µL cell sample (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test). Titration is recommended for optimal performance.
Fluorochrome characteristics:
PerCP-eFluor® 710 emits at 710 nm and is excited with a 488 nm blue laser. Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass (695/40 acceptable). Ensure instrument compatibility.
Handling and storage:
- Light-sensitive: protect from light.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222-49) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333-54).
- Excitation: 488 nm; Emission: 710 nm; Laser: Blue.
- 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
