Target Information
Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) is a serine/threonine protein kinase that mediates signal transduction from integrins to intracellular pathways. It interacts with the cytoplasmic domain of beta-1 integrin and contains four ankyrin-like repeats. ILK plays a key role in integrin-mediated cell signaling, influencing cellular adhesion, migration, and survival. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified.
