Target Information
AMOT (Angiomotin)은 angiostatin 결합 단백질 계열(motin family)에 속하며, 보존된 coiled-coil 도메인과 C-말단 PDZ 결합 모티프를 특징으로 합니다.
AMOT는 ARHGAP17과 복합체를 형성하여 tight junction의 극성 단백질 흡수를 조절함으로써 tight junction 유지에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
주로 모세혈관 및 태반의 내피세포에서 발현되며, 혈관형성 억제 인자인 angiostatin의 작용을 매개하여 내피세포의 이동 및 신생혈관 형성 과정에 관여합니다.
