• Preparation:
  Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Wnt-1. Anti-Human Wnt-1-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

• Sandwich ELISA:
  To detect hWNT-1 by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. In conjunction with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human WNT-1 (500-P250) as a capture antibody, enables detection of 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hWNT-1.

• Western Blot:
  To detect hWNT-1 by Western blot, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL. Detection limit for Recombinant hWNT-1 is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

• Package:
  500-P250BT-1MG is provided as 2 × 500 µg.

Target Information

Wnt proteins are secreted glycoproteins that regulate tissue homeostasis, cell fate, proliferation, and self-renewal. Canonical Wnt signaling involves Frizzled and LRP5/LRP6 receptors, activating the β-catenin pathway, while non-canonical signaling involves Frizzled and ROR2 receptors. Dysregulation of these pathways can lead to cancer.
Human Wnt-1 is a 370 amino acid precursor cleaved to a 343 amino acid mature form (~42 kDa), showing ~99% identity to mouse Wnt-1. Wnt-1 signaling influences embryonic development and carcinogenesis and can induce phosphorylation and degradation of c-Myb.
