Preparation:
Produced from sera of rabbits immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human Wnt-3a. The anti-Human Wnt-3a-specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.

Sandwich ELISA:
To detect hWNT-3a by sandwich ELISA (100 µL/well antibody solution), use 0.25–1.0 µg/mL of this antibody. When used with PeproTech Polyclonal Anti-Human WNT-3a (500-P251) as a capture antibody, it enables detection of at least 0.2–0.4 ng/well of Recombinant hWNT-3a.

Western Blot:
For Western blot detection of hWNT-3a, use 0.1–0.2 µg/mL of this antibody. With compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for Recombinant hWNT-3a is 1.5–3.0 ng/lane under reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Target Information

Wnt3a is part of the WNT gene family, encoding secreted signaling proteins involved in oncogenesis and developmental processes such as cell fate regulation and embryonic patterning. Expression studies in the NT2 teratocarcinoma cell line suggest a role in early neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. The WNT3A gene is clustered with WNT3 on chromosome 17q21.
