Target Information

ERCC1 is a non-catalytic component of a structure-specific DNA repair endonuclease responsible for the 5′ incision during DNA repair. It acts with SLX4 in the repair of interstrand cross-links (ICL) and participates in processing anaphase bridge-generating DNA structures that can lead to cytokinesis failure. ERCC1 is also required for homology-directed repair (HDR) of DNA double-strand breaks in conjunction with SLX4. (Source: Uniprot)
