Target Information
Prohibitin은 진화적으로 보존된 유전자에서 유래하며, 대부분의 세포에서 발현됩니다. 세포 증식의 음성 조절자로 작용하며 종양 억제 인자로 추정됩니다. PHB 유전자의 돌연변이는 산발적 유방암과 관련이 있습니다. Prohibitin은 3' 비번역 영역의 길이가 다른 두 가지 전사체로 발현되며, 긴 전사체는 증식하는 조직과 세포에서 더 높은 수준으로 존재합니다. 이는 긴 3' 비번역 영역이 전사 후 조절 RNA로 기능할 가능성을 시사합니다.
