Target Information
Prohibitin은 진화적으로 보존된 유전자에서 유래하며, 세포 증식의 음성 조절자로 작용하고 종양 억제 기능을 가질 가능성이 있습니다. PHB 유전자의 돌연변이는 산발적 유방암과 관련이 있으며, 두 가지 형태의 전사체를 발현합니다. 긴 형태의 3' 비번역 영역을 가진 전사체는 증식 중인 조직과 세포에서 더 높은 수준으로 존재하며, 이 영역이 전사 조절 RNA로 기능할 수 있는 것으로 제안됩니다.
