Product Specific Information
DS5MMER 단일클론 항체는 mouse MerTK를 인식합니다. MerTK는 TAM family의 tyrosine kinase receptor로, macrophage에서 발현되며 apoptotic cell 제거에 관여합니다. Protein S 및 Gas6와 결합 시 PI3K 및 Akt pathway를 활성화하여 식세포 작용을 유도합니다. 또한 TLR 유도성 염증성 사이토카인 생성을 억제하며, filovirus의 잠재적 수용체로 작용할 수 있습니다.
MerTK 결핍 시 자가면역 및 염증 반응이 증가하며, 세포 표면에서 절단되어 혈청 및 배양액 중에도 존재합니다. DS5MMER 항체는 paraformaldehyde-fixed 세포에서도 사용 가능합니다.

Target Information
MERTK (cMER)는 tyrosine kinase proto-oncogene으로, retinal pigment epithelium (RPE)에서 식세포 작용에 관여합니다. 세포 생존, 이동, 분화, apoptotic cell 제거 등 다양한 생리적 과정에 관여합니다. Ligand 결합 후 autophosphorylation을 통해 GRB2, PLCG2와 상호작용하며 MAPK, FAK/PTK2, RAC1 등의 인산화를 유도합니다.
면역반응 조절 및 SOCS1, SOCS3 발현을 통한 TLR 억제에도 중요한 역할을 합니다.
