• Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
• This antibody shows a broad species reactivity.

Target Information

Cytokeratin pan belongs to a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by remarkable biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight between 40–68 kDa and have an isoelectric pH between 4.9–7.8.
Human cytokeratins are numbered 1 to 20, and their expression patterns vary by epithelial type and differentiation stage.
Cytokeratin subtype expression is widely used to distinguish epithelial malignancies.
These antibodies assist in differential tumor diagnosis using immunohistochemistry, and are also valuable in cytopathology and flow cytometric assays.
Keratins serve as markers in cancer research and tumor diagnosis.
