Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed):

• Incubate antibody for 30 min at room temperature.
• Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 min at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min.
• This antibody shows broad species reactivity.

Target Information

Cytokeratin pan belongs to a subfamily of intermediate filament proteins characterized by biochemical diversity, represented in human epithelial tissues by at least 20 different polypeptides.
Cytokeratins range in molecular weight between 40–68 kDa and have isoelectric points between 4.9–7.8.
They are numbered 1–20, with expression patterns varying by epithelial type and differentiation stage.
Cytokeratin subtype expression assists in distinguishing different epithelial malignancies and is valuable in tumor diagnosis, cytopathology, and flow cytometry.
Keratins serve as important markers in cancer research and tumor identification.
