This antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is >95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Target Information
The PDE1B protein belongs to the cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase (PDE) family, specifically the PDE1 subfamily. Members of this family are calmodulin-dependent and activated by calcium-calmodulin complexes. PDE1B exhibits dual specificity for cAMP and cGMP, with a preference for cGMP as substrate. These second messengers regulate many critical physiological processes. Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms of this gene.
