Target Information
This gene encodes a secreted activator protein with two cysteine-rich, furin-like domains and one thrombospondin type 1 domain. In mice, R-Spondin-1 induces rapid crypt cell proliferation and promotes intestinal epithelial healing, offering protection against chemotherapy-induced damage.
