Ezrin은 세포질 주변부 막 단백질로, 미세융모 내에서 단백질-티로신 키나아제 기질로 작용합니다. ERM 단백질 패밀리의 구성원으로서, 세포막과 액틴 세포골격 사이의 중개 역할을 합니다. 세포 표면 구조, 부착, 이동 및 조직화에 중요한 역할을 하며, 여러 종류의 인간 암에서 관련성이 보고되었습니다. 이 유전자에는 염색체 3에 위치한 의사유전자가 있으며, 대체 스플라이싱 변이체도 보고되었습니다.
