Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Wilms' tumor (WT) is an embryonal kidney malignancy found in both sporadic and inherited forms. The WT1 protein binds the DNA sequence GCGGGGGCG and acts as a transcriptional repressor.
WTAP (Wilms tumor 1-associating protein) is a nuclear protein that interacts with WT1 and may regulate mRNA splicing. It localizes to nuclear speckles and participates in G2/M cell cycle regulation by stabilizing cyclin A2 mRNA. WTAP inhibits WT1 target gene expression and reduces WT1 DNA-binding ability. Two isoforms of WTAP exist due to alternative splicing.
