For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
cAMP is a signaling molecule crucial for various cellular functions. It activates cAMP-dependent protein kinase (AMPK), which phosphorylates target proteins. The inactive holoenzyme of AMPK consists of two regulatory and two catalytic subunits. Upon cAMP binding, the holoenzyme dissociates into regulatory dimers and free catalytic monomers. Humans have four regulatory and three catalytic AMPK subunits. The PRKAR2A gene encodes one of these regulatory subunits, which can be phosphorylated and interact with A-kinase anchoring proteins to determine AMPK localization.
