Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant human Carbonic Anhydrase (CA) 5A and CA5B is observed.
- Less than 1% cross-reactivity with rhCA1, rhCA2, rhCA3, rhCA4, rhCA7, rhCA8, rhCA9, rhCA10, rhCA12, rhCA13, and rhCA14.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS before use.
Target Information
Carbonic Anhydrase VI is one of several isozymes of carbonic anhydrase found only in salivary glands and saliva. It may play a role in the reversible hydration of carbon dioxide, though its specific function in saliva remains unknown.
