Target Information

The Eph subfamily represents the largest group of receptor protein tyrosine kinases identified to date. Increasing evidence suggests their involvement in central nervous system function and development. Human Eph receptors and their homologs include EphA1–EphA8 and EphB1–EphB6. Ligands for Eph receptors include ephrin-A4 (LERK-4), ephrin-A2 (Elf-1), ephrin-A3 (Ehk1-L), and ephrin-B2 (Htk-L), which interact with respective Eph receptors such as EphA3, EphA4, EphA5, and EphB4.
