For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The CYP1A2 gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. These monooxygenases catalyze various reactions involved in drug metabolism and the synthesis of cholesterol, steroids, and other lipids.
The protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum and is induced by polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), including those found in cigarette smoke.
Although the endogenous substrate is unknown, CYP1A2 can metabolize some PAHs into carcinogenic intermediates and also acts on xenobiotic substrates such as caffeine, aflatoxin B1, and acetaminophen.
The transcript contains four Alu sequences flanked by direct repeats in the 3′ untranslated region.
