PerCP conjugates are excited by the 488 nm line of the argon-ion laser and have a large Stokes shift, providing minimal spectral overlap into the R-PE (phycoerythrin) channel.
Target Information
CD20 is a non-glycosylated surface phosphoprotein with a molecular weight of 33–37 kDa depending on phosphorylation. It is expressed on mature and most malignant B cells, a subset of T lymphocytes, and follicular dendritic cells. CD20 regulates transmembrane calcium conductance, cell cycle progression, and B-cell proliferation. It associates with lipid rafts, and its distribution changes upon extracellular triggering or BCR aggregation. CD20 remains on the cell surface after receptor ligation and serves as a key target for antibody-mediated B-cell depletion therapy. Dysfunctions are linked to Ms4a1-related common variable immune deficiency.
