BC96 단클론 항체는 인간 CD25, 즉 55 kDa IL-2 수용체 알파 사슬(IL-2Rα)에 반응합니다. CD25는 T 및 B 세포 계통의 초기 전구체와 활성화된 성숙 T/B 림프구에서 발현됩니다. 단독으로는 IL-2에 낮은 친화도를 보이나, CD122(IL-2Rβ) 및 CD132(공통 γ 사슬)와 결합하여 고친화성 IL-2 수용체를 형성합니다.
