Target Information
TGF beta-1 (TGFB1, Transforming Growth Factor Beta 1)은 거의 모든 조직에서 발견되는 transforming growth factor beta 슈퍼패밀리의 사이토카인입니다. TGF-beta는 세포외기질에 잠재 복합체 형태로 저장되며, 활성화는 aV 인테그린이 RGD 서열에 결합하여 기계적 힘을 가할 때 일어납니다. 활성형은 TGF beta-1 호모다이머 형태이며, 잠재형은 TGFB1, LAP, LTBP 복합체로 구성됩니다. 이 단백질은 세포 증식, 분화, 부착, 이동을 조절하며, 다양한 성장 인자를 양·음성으로 조절합니다. TGF beta-1 유전자는 종양 세포에서 자주 상향 조절되며, Camurati-Engelmann 병 및 낭포성 섬유증과 관련된 돌연변이가 보고되었습니다.
