Product Specific Information

The monoclonal rat IgG1, kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This rat IgG1 isotype control has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and ELISA.
It has been used for flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocyte suspension and can be applied at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

When using two or more Super Bright dye-conjugated antibodies in a staining panel, it is recommended to use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Target Information

Rat IgG1 is a subclass of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies commonly used in research and diagnostics.
Produced by rats in response to an antigen, these antibodies can be purified from serum or hybridoma culture supernatants.
Rat IgG1 is often used as a negative control since it does not bind to most mammalian antigens.
It is also applied in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and western blotting for detecting specific antigens.
