Product Specific Information
- Description: Rat IgG2b monoclonal antibody is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
- Applications Reported: Suitable for flow cytometric analysis.
- Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes; use at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.
- Fluorochrome Information: Super Bright 702 is a tandem dye excited by the 405 nm violet laser and emits at 702 nm. Recommended filter: 710/50 bandpass. Ensure instrument compatibility.
- Buffer Recommendation: When using multiple Super Bright-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.
- Light Sensitivity: Protect from light due to photo-induced oxidation sensitivity.
- Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET performance.
- Excitation/Emission: 405 nm / 702 nm (Violet Laser).
