MA5-15610 targets ETS1 in indirect ELISA, IHC, and WB applications and shows reactivity with human samples.
The immunogen is a purified recombinant fragment of human ETS1 expressed in E. coli.
MA5-15610 detects ETS1, which has a predicted molecular weight of approximately 50.4 kDa.

Target Information

ETS1 (also known as c-Ets-1, v-ets erythroblastosis virus E26 oncogene homolog 1, ETS-1, EWSR2, p54) is a 441 amino acid protein and a member of the DNA-binding ETS protein family.
It is a multifunctional protein consisting of:

• N-terminal pointed domain
• Central transactivation domain
• Two auto-inhibitory domains flanked by a conserved C-terminal ETS domain

ETS1 interacts with factors including PEBP2alphaA and p300/CBP, mediating transactivation of Osteopontin, Presenilin-1, Stromelysin, and Collagenase.
Activated by Ras/MAPK signaling, ETS1 expression is upregulated in resting T-cells.
Its activity is modulated by transcription factors such as AP-1, Sp-1, c-myb, and MafB.
Sp100 activates ETS1 in nuclear bodies. It interacts with EAP1/Daxx, repressing MMP1 and BCL2 transactivation.
ETS1 also interacts with STAT6 to modulate Socs-1 expression induced by IL-4 and with GATA3 to positively regulate Tax-1 dependent IL-5 expression.
