Description:
The monoclonal antibody ZM4.1 recognizes ILT3 (CD85k), a member of the ILT (Immunoglobulin-like Transcript) family, also known as LIRs or MIRs. ILT3 is a 60 kDa transmembrane protein with two Ig domains and ITIMs. It is expressed on monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells, with high expression on plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). ILT3 expression on dendritic cells is required for induction of regulatory T cells (Tregs). The ZM4.1 antibody can block the suppressive function of Tregs in vitro in allogenic DC cultures.

- Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells.
- Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.125 µg) per test (in 100 µL final volume).
- Cell number range: 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
- Excitation: 633–647 nm; Emission: 660 nm; Laser: Red Laser.
- Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
This gene belongs to the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family, located on chromosome 19q13.4. The encoded protein is a subfamily B class LIR receptor with two or four extracellular Ig domains, a transmembrane region, and two to four ITIM motifs. It is expressed on immune cells, binds to MHC class I molecules on antigen-presenting cells, and transduces inhibitory signals to modulate immune responses. It plays a role in antigen capture, presentation, and regulation of inflammatory responses and cytotoxicity. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms exist.
