Target Information
CD26 (Dipeptidyl Peptidase IV, DPP IV, Adenosine Deaminase binding protein)은 Prolyl Oligopeptidase 계열의 비전형적 세린 프로테아제로, 림프구 세포 표면에 발현되며 T세포 활성화 시 증가합니다.
또한 활성화된 B세포, NK 세포, 상피세포에도 풍부하게 존재합니다.
CD26은 T세포 활성화, 세포 부착, HIV 감염 등 다양한 생물학적 기능에 관여하며, Adenosine Deaminase Complexing Protein-2 및 T세포 활성화 항원 CD26과 동일한 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 막 내재형 세린 엑소펩티다아제로서 N-말단으로부터 X-Proline 디펩타이드를 절단합니다.
CD26의 효소 활성 변화는 악성 변형과 관련이 있으며, 종양 등급 및 심각도 증가에 따라 활성도가 현저히 상승합니다.
류머티즘 관절염 및 전신성 홍반 루푸스 환자의 단핵구 및 CD4+ T세포에서 CD26 밀도 변화가 보고되었습니다.
