The SH3RF2 gene encodes a protein that possesses protein phosphatase 1 binding activity and ubiquitin protein ligase activity.
This protein is involved in multiple cellular processes, including:

The protein is located in the nucleoplasm, and mutations in the SH3RF2 gene have been associated with Ureter Transitional Cell Carcinoma.
