This product is preservative free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
J chain is a small glycopeptide synthesized by plasma cells secreting polymeric immunoglobulins. It is linked to IgA and IgM by disulfide bonds and has also been detected in IgG- and IgD-containing cells. J chains are present in many immunoglobulin-positive cells in the germinal centers of the tonsil and lymph node. B cells secrete J chain at an early stage of differentiation, with expression persisting in cells destined to produce IgA or IgM.
