Target Information
PRKD2 (PKD2) is a member of the protein kinase D serine/threonine protein kinase family. It is a component of the signal transduction pathway induced by phorbol esters and the CCK b gastrin receptor. PRKD2 shows strong homology to PKD/PKC and PKCnu in the zinc finger-like cysteine-rich motif, pleckstrin homology domain, and protein kinase domain, but low similarity to other PKC family members.
