Target Information
Lingo1 is a functional component of the Nogo receptor signaling complex (RTN4R/NGFR) involved in RhoA activation, mediating inhibition of axonal regeneration by myelin-associated factors (PubMed:14966521, PubMed:15694321).
It acts as a negative regulator of oligodendrocyte differentiation and axonal myelination (PubMed:15895088), and participates in neuronal precursor cell motility regulation during cortical development.
