Target Information
This gene encodes one of seven subunits of the human Arp2/3 protein complex, which is involved in the control of actin polymerization in cells and is conserved through evolution. The p34 subunit’s exact role is not fully determined. Two alternatively spliced variants have been characterized, with additional variants described but not fully defined.
