Target Information
Thrombin cleaves bonds after Arg and Lys, converts fibrinogen to fibrin, and activates factors V, VII, VIII, XIII, and, in complex with thrombomodulin, protein C. It functions in blood homeostasis, inflammation, and wound healing.
