Product Specific Information
The B20.1 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse T-cell receptor (TCR) V alpha 2 chains. It recognizes the majority of the TCR V alpha 2 subfamily in mice carrying the a, b, and c haplotypes, and also reacts with V delta 8 products due to high homology.
Each product contains:
- 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
- 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Tested:
- Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse lymph node cells
- Recommended usage ≤ 0.1 µg per test (100 µL final volume)
- Cell number range: 10^5–10^8 cells/test
- Preblock Fc receptors for 10 min using 0.5 µg purified anti-mouse CD16/32 (Product #14-0161-82)
- Titrate antibody for optimal performance
Compatibility Notes:
- NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI)
- Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assessment
CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer Guidance:
- Updated conjugate ships with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Product #C001T06F01)
- Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before combining with cells
